I find this book to be a little over sentinmental. Here’s a collection of lines from the book that make me think that way

“you’re a fortress to me, Bras.” Drakedanger’s offered to hug me earlier and that’s why he’s my fortress

“it was like a stampede of words running inside his brain.” – that’s a lot of words

“Oh, my little mircle.” – that’s how i feel about you Vada

“…no matter how hard he tried to block it all out… people will keep dying” – What?! seriously?

Bras:”I could swear you’ve been practicing that speech your whole life.”

Bras’ father: “Well, maybe i have.” – maybe i have…. with a vengeance!

“His mind was on fire.” – FIRE!!

So overall, i don’t really dislike the book i just feel like it’s a little too sacrine to be a great piece of work. Good, not great.
