I get that main character speaks Spanish, ok? You don’t need to bludgeon me every panel with some throwaway Spanish phrase. It’s sort of distracting and loses it’s impact.

the story is ok. I find it telling that I want to read about the Blue Scarab in the hands of the Aztecs, rather than this story. I think a Blue Beetle vs. Conquistadors story would be pretty damn cool.

The art is pretty good, except i just don’t really care for the actual blue beetle design. It seems, too, I don’t know – busy? very 90’s seeming to me.

This is one I doubt I will read after first arc
