This is the kind of book I enjoy. Bedard offers up a lot of backstory and puts his focus wher it should be, Blue Beetle. Guara’s art is amazing It fits the cosmic aspect of the book but he also puts emphasis on scale and detail. He draws a car but unlike most I can tell you it is a 1961 Impala convertible. Few artists go to that amount of detail so I give him 5 stars and wish him much work.
If you like this book smart money would be spent on “New Guardians”, Bedard’s other DCnU book.
