First off, man there's a lot of artists on this issue. Not as much as The Incredible Hulk, but still. Rags Morales' pencils look great, but in a panel when Superman uses heat vision there's no eye lasers which my sound dumb but still it would have driven the point across. Then at the last couple of pages the art is also fantastic, but vastly different from Rags Morales'. I actually liked these pages better than Morales'. During Superman's fight with Brainiac he is reminded of how he can either save Earth or his home planet Krypton. I didn't feel that this was a difficult choice for Superman to make as Brainiac kept reminding him to make a choice. What was also odd was Superman's armor designed changed numerous times because of the collected planets Brainiac saved? I also heard Superman's armor was being weird in the main Superman book. The fight scenes were confusing in this issue, but the rest was pretty well done. The supporting cast is doing their thing and Superman is doing his best to save them. It was also cool to see that Clark is pretty good at espionage. It's good to see this book move forward and get into the crazyness Grant Morrison is known for.
