Word Balloon Podcast – Nick Spencer

Show Notes

On this episode Nick Spencer joins us to talk about his mainstream work on the Jimmy Olsen co-feature in Action Comics (for now), his run on Supergirl which starts this January with issue 60, his reimagining Wally Wood's T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents for DC Comics which debuts this month, and War Machine for Marvel which comes out later next year.

Plus, we talk about his popular Image series Morning Glories, and his future mini series Infinite Vacation.

How did this guy come out of nowhere to suddenly find himself with so many mainstream and creator owned projects? You'll hear all the details on this episode of Word Balloon

Looking forward to this one.  It’s going to be interesting hearing from the guy who seems to be writing it all…

  2. I like Supergirl. Maybe I’ll drop a book and start Supergirl.

  3. diebenny diebenny says:

I agree with Nick’s comments at the end.  I wouldn’t be reading comics to the extent that i do if not for Word Balloon, and more recently, IFanboy.  Its nice to see creators coming up who’ve been listening and are influenced by Word Balloon.  Thats saying something.
