iFanboy #270 – Jeff Lemire of ‘Animal Man’, ‘Trillium’, ‘Sweet Tooth’, and ‘The Underwater Welder’ at New York Comic Con 2012

Show Notes

Jeff Lemire can’t be pinned down. Coming from low key indie works to full blown superhero horror, Lemire has a knack with a whole lot of genres.

We talk to the creator about winding down Sweet Tooth after 40 issues, only to start up Trillium, a 10 issue hard sci fi story from Vertigo Comics. He’s still working hard on Animal Man and is pleased with the amazing reception for the book. Finally, Lemire released The Underwater Welder from Top Shelf this year as well, a story long in the making, with a great many personal ties.

He also inadvertently dressed like Gus from Sweet Tooth.

  1. Great interview and insight!! Can I have the link to that 180 degree Geoff Johns interview, please?

  2. Excited for Trillium. I haven’t read much Lemire outside of his regular DCU stuff, but I’m feelin’ the sci-fi right now.
