  1. Congrats, guys!

  2. Hurray! 300 episodes and not a Persian in sight. (obligatory lame joke)

    Congratulations and thank you, iFanboy!

  3. You guys are good. How the hell did you spot that woman in the cloak. I was looking all over for her, then I spotted her. Nice catch.

  4. Friday night in the chatroom was a great time. I assume Ron is going to post the video of the special guest sometime this week. He made us wait but was worth the anticipation. Thankfully, the “watersports” segment with one of the hosts isn’t in the video

  5. Congrats on 300 episodes! If only the podcast could have a holofoil, die-cut Rob Liefeld sketch variant for such a momentous anniversary!

  6. My favorite D-Lister is The Question.

  7. What flashpoint tie in justice league?!!??

  8. heh. we really should be expecting the Texas Is the Reason song by now, but it surprises me every milestone episode.

  9. I’m gonna rub the blood OK? say hi to your mother for me

  10. Thanks guys!

I’m just transitioning between old comp and a new one. Haven’t got around to setting up my iTunes yet and your taped Ustream here was a life saver. Thank you! What a show. Laughed too much with one tonight I did. Thanks again.

    Happy member,
    Clayton

  11. Great show! Congrats on 300!

Here’s how I rank the Marvel movies:

    1) Thor
    2) Iron Man
    3) Captain America
    4) Iron Man 2
    5) The Incredible Hulk

Like Ron said, it’s a matter of inches and TIH is really underrated.

  12. Gotta back up Ron on his love of special covers! I went searching for the Glow in the Dark Ghost Rider cover (back in the day). I DO draw the line at hologram covers tho.

  13. Congratulations on 300 episodes! Keep rubbin’ the blood boys.

  14. Avatar photo JeffR (@JeffRReid) says:

I do have a weakness for special covers as well. Like when DC released Colorform-esque covers for a random Milestone/DCU issue and a later Superman: The Man of Steel issue. It’s just a bit of fun.

  15. I gotta say Justice League #1 was incredible! A fantastic start to the new DCU and I thought Flashpoint cleaned itself up after a terrible issue #4.

  16. i hate myself for missing the show live, stupid work. great show and congrats. hopefully I’ll be there for the 400th

  17. I’m so excited that my review was opened by a tender, from the heart (or stomach) Ron Richards burp! I spewed Diet Dr. Pepper all over my keyboard. So freaking funny!

  18. Congratulations guys!! And the ‘rustyautoparts” moment was defintley my fav moment.

  19. HAWK FACE?!? Hahaha!!

  20. Great show as always! Is it me or has this Texas song been used a few times? Anniversary episodes maybe?

  21. I don’t get the 11 o’clock comic reference, can someone explain?

  22. Historic! This is Sparta!

  23. Congrats on 300! Great show as always.

  24. Oh, and if going to DC Comics to read comic books before they’re published isn’t a sign you’ve made it, then I don’t know what is!

  25. Guys, I listened to your recent podcast regarding the ending of Flashpoint #5. I think too much discussion has been given to Batman crying. If you can believe in a guy that survives being frozen in ice since the end of WWII without brain damage or accept the fact that a flying alien is an organic solar battery, you should be able to accept the fact that a fictional man named Bruce Wayne can cry in front of a fictional Barry Allen when he is exposed to an expression of love from a father who’s death has inspired his entire mission in life. I think sometimes we get too caught up in is this real or not. The more appropriate question is whether the moment was earned or plausible given what had come before. On that point, I might tend to agree with the detractors of that ending. But in the last few years, we accepted that Barry could come back from the dead and Bruce could defeat the Omega Effect and return to his time period after bouncing around in time. Now those two things are FAR more implausible than whether Batman would cry in front of the Flash.

  26. Hey Ron, remember The Ferret from Malibu Comics? There was an issue where the entire thing was die cut. http://www.comicvine.com/the-ferret-/37-37216/
