  1. Wow! I would imagine a fury of comments on the brilliant music choice this week. The Ramones AND The Simpsons? Superb.

I’m surprised Chuck Dixon hasn’t come crawling back to DC yet but I still have hopes. His G.I. Joe stuff is pretty solid but I would’ve imagined he would apologized to Dan Didio at this point and go back to writing Batman comics….Then again Higgins has done a great job taking over Nightwing.

  2. Gotta give a shout out to Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. after hearing Ron say he dropped it. This book is one of the very best ongoing titles in DC’s lineup. There’s a lot of cool, twisted sci-fi in comics this year and most of it comes from the creative freedom of the independents. But Lemire’s run was easily as imaginative as anything in that crowd (except for maybe Prophet) while staying smart and funny in an Atomic Robo kind of way. So cheer up, Frank. You may be all green & stitched together and Ron doesn’t love you but I think you rock! Can’t wait to see what Kindt does with the book going forward.

  3. It is heartening to know that my roommate and I aren’t the only ones quoting “JFK”.

Walter Matthau, John Candy, Joe Pesci, Kevin Bacon… Every scene has gems.

  4. As a 23 year old, just wanted to let you know that I did very much appreciate the Real World reference. Special Edition podcast for the 20th anniversary?

  5. I paused the show, pulled out my Flex Mentallo hardcover, checked the back.

    Nice.

Incidentally, the mood on the iFanboy MySpace page is set to “jubilant.”

  6. Go to hell, ya old bastard!

  7. For those iFanboys who was under 30 (ie. me), and therefore had no clue what the guys were talking about regarding Real World: Seattle and the entire Kira “I’m lovin’ you” business.

    Here’s the scene.

  8. As of this week, I dropped Deathstroke, Grifter and Hawkman (just stopped enjoying them). But I officially added Demon Knights. It’s not usually my kind of comics, but darn it, it’s some good reading!

  9. Are you guys not gonna do video podcast about the Avengers movie/comic? It’s the AVENGERS peeps! Definitely worth it to come back for hiatus!

  10. Josh, I love your impersonations. They make me laugh every time.

  11. Very entertaining as usual fellas.

@Conor: I completely agree with you on both of those Batman points.

  12. Groovy show gents.

  13. Listening to Conor and Ron go on and on about how good X-Force has been over the past couple years has always made me happy, because I too also very much enjoy what Remender is doing with X-Force. I’ve always wanted to hear Josh’s opinion of X-Force though, (him not being the uber X-men nut) and hearing him give it praise in this podcast does my heart good! Thanks for making time to read X-Force Josh! Keep up the good work guys.
