  1. Love the Dodson’s art, but this story does not do the Breakworld storyline justice, it’s like a sorry movie sequel that shoulda never happened.

  2. I am enjoying it, although some of the plot points have been a bit convenient. The characterization is rock solid, which is a big step forward by itself. I am hoping this just puts an end to the permanently phased Kitty, which was so poorly handled by Fraction.

  3. I just…I just thank god that this title is readable again. Right when Gillen took sole custody of the book, the writing not only became more focused, but less irritating and smarmy.

I’m loving this Kitty-centric arc, since nothing was really done with her since she was brought back to Earth expect that she was put into the space suit. It has been perfection in every single issue, so far.

  4. “Right when Gillen took sole custody of the book, the writing not only became more focused, but less irritating and smarmy”

Absolutely. I generally like Fraction, and I thought his overall plots for Uncanny were very good and interesting. But the dialogue and characterization was horrible. At times it seemed like he turned the X-Men into a bunch of narcissistic self-righteous spoiled rich kids…and then expected the readers to empathize with them and think they were just so cool.

  5. The scene last issue with Wolverine was amazing. Really excited to follow this book whereever it leads. Too bad its about to get bogged down in Schism…

  6. First Schism, then it ENDS! And then we get the new #1. If that issue is drawn by Greg Land than so help me god, heads will roll.

  7. After this ends… a new #1?

  8. I am loving this book right now! Gillen charicterization is spot on, and the Dodsons art is fantastic!

  9. This book is awesome again!

  10. Ok, so what happened when Kruun brought his wife back? I thought he was sacrificing himself. Was he just sacrificing the war monger in him?

  11. @DikBallistik

His lady friend kind of explains that Kruun had so much energy in him he could bring her back without killing himself. So he’s like Diet Kruun for now.

  12. Jason Aaron is the devil. He’s killing my favorite series ever. Gillen is the man, i hope he still gets to write some x-franchise.

  13. Very dissappointed with this line…….I’ve been collecting X-men for the last 30 yrs.  Not too impressed.
