Wow what a waste of money. Why wasn’t it called ultimate power princess instead of hulk. this was just bad

  2. I do have to agree, it was bad. I did like one thing about it though, which was the end of the book after the fight was over. Don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but it’s kinda funny. To me, it helps connect this Hulk to the Hulk of Ultimates Volume 1 (I know it’s the same Hulk, but loeb writes so bad, it doesn’t seem like the same Hulk.)

Considering Jeph Loeb’s recent history, I was really surprised by how good this was. And the reason they called it Ultimate Hulk and not Ultimate Zarda, was so that people would buy it.

I can’t believe I was tricked by the circumstances/timing of this into expecting it might actually matter with regard to Ultimatum.  What a waste of time and money…and with how little time it takes to read a comic, it’s really bad when you can even call an issue a waste of time.

Wow 4 dollars, I didn’t know that the price of crap had gone up so much in this fragile economy of ours. Terrible waste of time, money, paper and ink. I’ll never get that time back.

This (awesomely) bad comic brought me immense amounts of joy during some truly awful real life events. I laughed so hard. It was almost as funny as that terrible Twilight movie. Good show, Loeb. Write like this all the time.

This was terrible…and I mean terrible.  My complaint is that HULK does not get bested by ANYONE in hand to hand combat.  The hulk is an unstoppable force that needs to be creatively taken down, and subdued by genius strategies that will only work once on him.  (like Tony Starks nanites, brilliant)  I am not a fan of the hulk for this reason, but, either you treat him right and make him the ultimate (no pun intended) bad ass and come up with creative ways to stop him,  or you don’t use him at all.  Had Zarda done something creative, anything creative….even if they wrote it that she decided to seduce him because that was the only way to beat him than the issue could have been good.

Seriously picture the hulk beating the living shit out of Zarda….but being the power princess she can take it for a while but is frustrated that a Human from this universe is stronger.  So she uses her womanly powers to trick him into a festive romp and he powers down after he money shot only to be beaten by the brutal Zarda. If Loeb wrote that story he would be winning awards.
