One foot set in reality?? Are we reading the same series? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Yeah, the mutant turtles are the foot that strays outside reality. So to keep it grounded they should have more normal settings and villans.

I really enjoy this arc. I’ve loved the Nutrinos since I was 5, and seeing them back has been a blast. I also love how the writers were able to adapt the classic Fugitoid storyline from the original comics in such a fun way that fits right into the storyline they are telling in this book. Also Krang, come on gotta love Krang.

My shop didn’t get this either (nor Saga). They also forgot to save the previous issue for me and ran out. Grrr. Really behind now. Thank goodness they’ve been constant with the Footclan mini though. My favorite arc of the entire series for sure.
I thought a lot of the micro series stuff was good. Looking forward to the villain micros
