  1. Is this the new James Stokoe book?

  2. Avatar photo Paul Montgomery (@fuzzytypewriter) says:

New James Stokoe book, people! Pull it!

  3. Hells Yeah! Stokoe draws Gojira!

  4. I was drooling over the fullsize original pages at fan expo vancouver (where i got a huge stack of StokoeStuff from the man himself) Can’t wait for this.

  5. STOKOE! GODZILLA! GIVE IT TO ME!

  6. Stokoe’s Godzilla!

Fuck I forgot about this! Hopefully my LCS has a copy…

  7. YES! I thought this was coming out in September. A light week for me just got much brighter. It’s Gojira!

  8. STOKOE!! STOKOE!! Still want more Orc Stain, but I will take what I can get.

  9. This was fantastic! Anything with STOKOE is an automatic buy for me. Besides the stunning visuals, I also really like his sense of humor.

  10. This was great the Stokoe art was fantastic as usual and the story was even pretty cool to considering ive never had any intrest in Godzilla or his comics i think ill stick around for this mini.

The Real question is how long is it going to be till the next issue now

  11. SOLD OUT AT MY SHOP. I HAD PUT THIS ON MY LIST AND EVERYTHING!!! Feel like punching my comic book store guy square in his vagina, but i’ll probably just cry instead.

    • B’awww pull list fail. I hope you let the owner of the shop know how disappointed in the service you were. This has happened to me a couple times and my shop has always bent over backwards to get me a copy of something they missed.

    • I was promised it would be in my box next Wednesday. We’ll see.

    • I know your pain Jesse, my store has done that time after time. Some comic store guys think they gotta be dicks like the one in the Simpsons, they just don’t care.

  12. I went into the shop without plans to get this, but after flipping through the first few pages, I couldn’t put it back on the shelf. I’ve never read any Godzilla books before, but I’ll be pulling the rest of this series. The art was jaw-dropping, and the story was action packed and engaging. Great stuff.

    • You should definitely get Orc Stain which is his currently running stuff from Image (on hiatus for this book). Also there is Sullivan’s Sluggers which I found on the Comixology app a couple days ago.

  13. This was great. Not only is Stokoe a comics genius, but I like the idea that this is a mini with a beginning, middle, and ending, instead of an ongoing Godzilla run where he’s doing a few arcs.

I sure hope those sweet Mothra twins make an appearance, I love those two cuties!

  14. I just want to know, was Orc Stain cancelled or was Stokoe incredibly busy the past couple of months? Kinda cautious about reading other comments.

  15. Good Gawd almighty did I enjoy this book. The dialogue wasn’t the greatest but the good story set in the original movie plus that jaw dropping art made it my potw. The thing I liked least about this book was that the monster wasn’t called Gojira. A minor gripe.

  16. Always stunned with awe when I view/read Stokoe’s work. There are few with talents that rival his.
