   I actually enjoyed the first Black Kiss series but this has been kinda of a let down even with the amazing Chaykin art.

   Black Kiss should be read before reading Black Kiss 2. The origin story of Beverly Grove has been fun so far.

     When I started in on this journey everyone told me that this story was stand alone and that I didn’t need to read Black Kiss first. Does anyone know where I can find it digitally?

     You don’t have to read Black Kiss before as Black Kiss 2 is actually is the prequel. But it makes Black Kiss 2 a bit more fun since you get to see origins of Bubba Kenton, Derek Broadbent and Beverly Grove(aka Eunice and whoever else). I’m assuming this is going to take us all the way up to the start of Black Kiss. I don’t think you can buy Black Kiss digitally. I just purchased the hardcover from Dynamite for under $20 and it is well worth the read, so many despicable and evil people in one book.. it’s a great time.

   this issue is the best so far as i did not read blackkiss didnt really know what was going on (i know didnt need to read the orignal) but i think as this is a prequel it could of helped and as i did not know what to exspect so was a bit losted in issue 1 & 2 however this issue really helped “suss” it out
