Depending on how you want to "count" them up, there are about 40 panels of dick in this issue. The story continues to follow a succubus named Eunice and her serial post-coital murders alongside her pre-op transsexual companion Dagmar. The story isn't very deep and ends up being a dark and twisted framework for Chaykins stellar art. In the previous books there was an interesting commentary evolving but that's gone in this issue. At this point I'm only in it for the art and my need to see where this journey takes me. The backgrounds are fantastic. The musical notes that give some panels a "feeling" to the setting are a great touch. Other places of artistic mastery come along with the sickening tale of one companion's demise at the hands of a Nazi SS officer. A glass catheter is inserted into some place uncomfortable and is then shattered. Given the nature of the book, and the reoccurring organ, I'll let you guess where that catheter is inserted. In a way, this story is a pornographic nightmare version of Dr. Who; and, unless you're OK with feeling dirty while you read this book, I wouldn't advise jumping in.
