  1. What’s the word on this book? Worth picking up? It must have something going on to last 17 issues in these troubled times.

  2. @CaseyJustice  I heard its been cancelled –  issue 18 ment to be the last I think.

  3. David Hine is an awesome.

It started off really rough when Nicieza (I think)  wrote it, then Hine came on on 10. His first arc was a huge improvement, but nothing special. The arc he’s doing now is even better, but it’s too little too late. Next month is the last issue.

  5. I had actually dropped this title after the first 5 but have picked up this last arc because it has been really good.  Solid 4 star stuff for the last few issues

  6. I’ve caught up with this series and I’m really impressed by it. Nicieza had a great run but with a crappy artist with him.

Hine has done a pretty fucked up story for 6 issues now but it fits the religious tone with the rest of the series. Also, March was also pretty damn good with his issues and Richards has done a good job as well. Shame to see this series go but it’s amazing that DC let it go to 18 issues in general…..don’t see Marvel doing that.

  7. I picked it up since we are close to the end.

Pretty good issue, although it’s apparent that the solict doesn’t match the story in here. Probably because it was announced as cancelled pretty abruptly. But what here is more of the same with talks about religion and faith. That and Richard’s art sure is pretty.

    4/5

  8. They’re letting Hine really do his own thing here (apparently) pretty much unchecked and he’s producing a strong, edgy story to take the series out on a high note.
