I love that there’s some kind of Hanna Barbera Justice League meme going on right now. That’s the second time I’ve seen those characters drawn this week and had to remind myself who they are.

BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRD-man!
Space Ghost remains the coolest name and design of any super hero, ever. A fact, proven by science.
Does Harvey and Judge Mightor being on the same superteam constitute grounds for appeal?
I would totally read a modern team book of the Hanna Barbera heroes!
I will champion for a Space Ghost comic!!!!
@RobotZombie: I’ll take the case!
Anyone read the 2005 6-issue mini?

I’ve seen that Space Ghost mini in stores before, and always been curious to pick it up.
Totally down for a Hanna-Barbera superhero team-up book.
Ghostrilla…. that got me for some reason. 😀 Dan Hipp, fantastic. That Prophet pic is awesome too.
Are we reaching a LaFuente level up? His last few weeks on Sindiecate have been really great.
I love Andy Kuhn’s sketches….they each have that same “look” and basic design, but each one is so interesting and individual. I also really love some of the messy textures created by his markers and other techniques.
The way he accomplished the mail on the shoulder really impressed me. I think he gets passed over by a lot of fans because of his minimalism, but he brings something to comic art that no one else does.
yeah its very painterly….almost how an impressionist would indicate details or highlights..quick little touches. Using a media like marker on paper is so much less forgiving than paint on canvas, so i’m always impressed. i’m surprised he isn’t working on more stuff…covers at least. If you’ve ever seen these sketches in person or even seen him draw one, they really are something.
He’s a really nice guy to boot.
i like how he often calls em “funnybooks”. i chuckle everytime.
@wallythegreenmonster My grandfather used to call my comics funnybooks too. classic!
Damn, Hardman. I was all excited for Earth-2 and now I wanna skip it and just wait for a Hardman JSA book, with he and Bechko writing.
That Hanna Barbera sketch is magic. And is Captain America yodelling?
Love Fegredo’s Jan Solo and Davenport’s Widow. Hipp’s strip is rad too.
PS: No Noto?! I hope nothing happened to him.
I love Jan Solo and that Bellatrix is gorgeous. I also loved the hunched over posing for Black Widow. Its always nice to see women in poses that aren’t the typical pin-up style.
It was the Kaluta effect.
Brown’s Cyclops is simple but really dynamic. God, I miss that ridiculous costume.
Mitten’s Bellatrix is fantastic.
But Davenport’s Black Widow is my favorite though. Absolutely gorgeous.
Ah, the 90’s Cyclops costume. The only time he’s ever looked good.
As great as that Cyclops sketch is, NOTHING tops a sketch of Birdman and Space Ghost.
Really love em all, Black Widow should have full stand alone stories from Davenport and love seeing Harvey Bird man and Spaceghost anytime, I think Spaceghost would make a great Earth-2 character, he looks like he belongs with the JSA, and DC have rights to his character as they wrote the only mini series/tpb of his origin, which I really liked by Joe Kelly and Ariel Olivetti, fun quick read but he’s taken seriously & Olivetti’s art is great on him.
Let’s pace ourselves. There are 52 Earths in the DCU. If licensing is cool with it, it could happen. And that would be so cool.
WOW.
All of these are amazing!
I can’t decide between the Cyclops, Blade, Black Widow, Prophet, and the Snake Eyes VS Storm Shadow.
Hmmmmmmm
I think it’s between Prophet and Snake Eyes.
Those two are just amazing.
