August 13, 2012 1:23 pm I took that into account, using the information provided. Also, with some of the buildings, its easy to tell the structure is off just by looking at them relative to the buildings around them. I dont doubt this is just an art thing... I think its unlikely that in the scripts Wood specified the number of floors for each and every building pictured. Just like I bet he didn't ask the artist to draw a bullet with the shell still on it. But like the people above stated, its an inexcusable act and ruins the book overall.
August 13, 2012 7:49 am First, I'm not joking. Why do you think I'm joking? Secondly, seems like the same thing to me. We both saw art defects that lessened our enjoyment of the series and dropped the book.
August 12, 2012 6:58 pm I dropped this book last month because one of the skyscrapers in the Hong Kong scenes didn't have the correct number of floors. I was born in Hong Kong and find the error inexcusable.

June 12, 2012 10:40 am Snyder's got four books out as well?
June 11, 2012 5:24 pm I've heard Wood state specifically that the Free States are not right-wingers. Also that this is not a war in conventional terms where two sides line up and point guns across a battlefield (that would be the FIRST civil war, ha). Manhattan is a choice piece of real estate, and so its land both sides fight over. The city or the states around it are not defined by red vs blue. The WAR is not defined by red vs blue or conservative vs liberals or whatever. The lines are blurrier. If anything its citizenry vs. a bloated, neglectful government. We've seen that from both sides of the divide, both with the Tea Party vs Washington and Occupy vs. Washington. Go ask Wood directly instead of relying on what strangers post on wikipedia. The most recent issue wiki covers is #29, and that's not even half the series. It's not a complete entry.
June 11, 2012 3:09 pm The two sides in DMZ are never defined as red/blue, conservative/otherwise. And the civil war is country-wide, the focus of DMZ is Manhattan, which is a no-man's land. Looks like you got some bad info (from wikipedia, what a shocker)
April 14, 2012 12:11 pm Ivan Brandon's VIKING came along when Northlanders was on around #15 or so - they didn't launch at the same time.
April 12, 2012 12:12 pm Brian Wood is taking the book over with #13.
