September 10, 2012 10:30 pm i'm so excited for this. i remember listening to the fanboy radio interview with david mack when bendis called in and announced this (in january of 2007!). can't wait to finally see this.
May 4, 2012 10:12 am here's a quote from connor's review about the mid credits scene - "And it’s awesome, though not entirely surprising if you’ve been paying attention. "
was there anything earlier in the film to suggest thanos was going to appear? there were aliens and thanos is an alien but was there more hints than that?
@bluelew23 - they can only nominate someone if that person submits anything for consideration. since you have no idea if jason aaron submitted anything or not, then you have no idea if they chose other people over him.
example, bendis stopped submitting stuff after he won for daredevil.
@paul - i see what you mean and yeah, it's not a huge leap, i agree. but i wonder how much they'll be allowed to "run with them" though. stan / boom may be providing plots or the writers might have to get stan's approval before doing future arcs, etc.
but man, i can't believe stan is STILL pumping out material. what an inspiration, seriously.
re-read your daredevil issues, the photo-ref is just as prevalent there as it is now.
maleev is probably my favorite working comic book artist. while this wasn't my favorite thing he's ever drawn, it's still easily an A. what a great book.
the burger king thing was actually a reference to robert downey jr's real life. the first thing did after he got out of rehab was to go get an cheeseburger.
also, he never says the words "burger king". he says "american cheeseburger". you'd only know it was burger by looking at the crumpled paper bag he has in his hands when he gets out of the car, which he immediately throws away. it's barely on screen for 2 seconds.

"these ought to operate like creator-owned series"
why make this assumption?

this seems like a weird discussion to even entertain. of course artists do something special. what is there to even discuss?
