May 22, 2012 4:10 pm I ordered some of the past Dark Horse Presents books on TFAW for nice discounts -- some of them at 60% off. These anthologies have terrific sci-fi tales in every issue.
May 17, 2012 11:50 pm This was a magnificent book, and Robinson is at the top of his game. Jill Thompson's art is superb -- check out the opium den and the body-strewn streets of St. Dubris. No excuse to miss this one.
May 14, 2012 1:46 pm Same with Hell Yeah 3 -- I can't figure out if it came out last week or this week.
May 9, 2012 2:44 pm I, however, am going to but it. Looks great.
May 1, 2012 2:22 pm I agree this article is a bit too late. Although I appreciate Chris's analysis, the point is moot -- Avengers is already a monster hit, and the Joss directing decision was a winner by any measure. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/box-office-shocker-avengers-pacing-500-million-globally-318568
March 22, 2012 7:42 pm As an optometrist, I was extremely disappointed when my treatise: "Samuel L. Jackson and the improper use of the eyepatch" was rejected from Wired magazine. Perhaps my next attempt "Scarlett Johansson and her thirty-eight specials -- poor pistol placement" will be more successful.
February 13, 2012 2:48 pm Ole Clint is not out to pasture yet, acting-wise. He'll star in Trouble with the Curve, a baseball movie being released late this year. It will be directed by his long-time assistant director Robert Lorenz -- the first time Clint hasn't directed a movie he's starred in since Wolfgang Peterson's In the Line of Fire in 1993. Though I can dream of Clint playing the role, I still like the Scott Glen choice for the Saint of Killers.
January 23, 2012 4:04 pm Speaking as a father of a daughter (now 12) I've immersed in comics over the years -- at 4 years old Tiny Titans and Young Justice are two of your best bets. They'll be plenty of opportunity for the more "mature" female comic icons as she gets older.
