Name: Jeff Ferguson

Bio: after reading my first tattered and handed down copy of x-men in the late 80's, i was hooked. came of age in the speculation boom of the early 90's when my friends and i bought anything and everything "special edition, foil, limited, or in original package." during highschool and college, was preoccupied with girls and booze, like you do. after graduating college in '03, got back into comics on a whim and a chance trip to midtown comics. now i stay up entirely too late and spend entirely to much money on my only addiction. the rest of my time is spent as a visual effects artist in manhattan, going to movies, playing xbox, and trying to convince my wife that $40 a week on comics is a necessary expenditure.

February 25, 2008 12:03 am what a great period piece. not only a good story, but fantastic art. particularly the colors, in both stories. not over done. simple and clean in the first story, having a kind of innocence. bold and hard edged in the second, conveying the hard, after dark life of 50's hawaii. Also liked the photos of Moore's decked out hawaiian den. awesome vintage stuff.

February 24, 2008 11:31 pm eeh, sometimes i feel like the dialoge is straight from a Superfriends episode.
February 20, 2008 9:49 am you know, after all of civil war, the splintering of the MU, the new avengers being on the lamb, and spiderman's ordeal with aunt may, I found myself agreeing with jessica jones in the middle of this book. why don't we all just register? it's like a weight was lifted. i don't know. is that feeling too "bush administration"?
