Dropping: ironically (Since FF is so solid because of Hickman): Secret Warriors-it just is not interesting or engrossing, I cant remember whats going on and never interested in whats happening next.
New: Namora - anything Namor-ish, I'm in - and kind of a crush :)
1)Gaurdians of the Galaxy-the best thing Marvel is putting out. Funny, interesting - the whole deal
2)Greg Pak Hulk stuff - I just re-connected with the whole bag (even New Savage She-Hulk) - Hulk, Incredible Hulk, Son of Hulk. It's this whole cosmic world going on that's almost as good as the Abnett and Lanning -verse.
3)Daredevil - Diggle is doing a great job
4)Astonishing X-Men - I always forget that Ellis is one of the best in the business
5)X-Factor - I always forget that Peter David is one of the best in the business
September 17, 2009 1:22 pm Great Pick. Moon Knight has always been one of my favorites - second only to DD. However, they have always managed to waste him on crappy comics. The last series was pretty horrible - so much so that I dropped it for awhile. Bad art, very bad writting and just plain terrible. Here is hoping they will give Moon Knight the shot he deserves.
September 3, 2009 5:18 pm Definitely my pick of the week! Mysterious, beautiful, haunting and then some. Everybody needs to check out Essex County and the Nobody - this guy is really working on a completely different level. I am so excited to see what he does with an ongoing.
July 16, 2009 12:36 am OK, I love Scalped - it is one of the best things going. Unfortunately I'm in trades, so I wont read #30 for awhile. But..COME ON - Blackest Night is more than just an event. If this keeps going at this level - BN will be in the same league as the classics. POW = BN#1 and Tales of the Corp.
I Love this book. This book IS me circa 1985. I would cry from nostalgia if it wasn't so entertaining. My parents were divorced and I would spend the weekends with my unshaved dad who took me to comic stores in his VW bus. This book has so much heart. I am not afraid to say it...I Love Mark Millar. Anyone who can write something as F'ed up as Kick-Ass and then put out something as beautiful as this is a genius.
Solid: Fantastic Four, Avengers, Thunderbolts
