September 22, 2010 7:37 pm This was easily the best comic I read this week. It was good to see a side of Superman that is rarely seen. Superman asking Dick "Is there anything on that belt that's really going to stop me?" was one of the best moments to me. This filled more of an emotional void that was sorely needed and amde me realize that I miss Bruse more than I thought I did.
September 22, 2010 11:52 am Maybe the one bright spot is that we can also look forward to 20% less big events and crossovers? I guess this would only qualify as a mini-crisis. Hopefully they can all be ret-conned into new jobs soon.
April 8, 2009 10:19 am The release date for this was pushed back to Jul 21st. If it is as good as the Wonder Woman one that was just released, this should be great.  It also is avalaible for pre-sale over at Coast City Styles, too.

I also am tired of Nightwing who seems to always be brooding and standoffish, ala Angel from the classic Buffy days. I thought Dick was beyond all this and was his own man. Wasn't that the point of the whole Nightwing Run and his past 10 years of character development?

I also find myself struggling with the vigilante Batman who is terrorizing Gotham’s criminals and shows up on the last page. To me, the costume of the mysteyr man reminds me of a rip-off of Bucky as the new Captain America but this time with Jason Todd. Let's see --
Hero dies - Check
Prodigal Son Returns - Check
Lots of Metal - Check
Now Uses Guns - check

Combined with the feel of No Mans Land, I was a little disappointed with this comic so far.

Great Podcast! I listened to it before seeing the movie tonight on Imax. I will forever be haunted by a big blue penis in my worst nightmares. That is something I never needed to see on the large screen.

I saw it with my wife who has never read the comics. From her perspective the ending seemed a little rushed. I also think that if you dropped the squid, you should have dropped the white tiger or at least explained why it was there. Overall, other then a few questions like "Why was he called the comedian? He wasn't funny at all." I think that it is still accessible to a non comic reader. There is more depth to this story than in alot of other of teh typical shclock that Hollywood serves up.

Overall I enjoyed it, as I did the comics. But I don' feel you can truly compare it to the comic book. They are 2 different things, and should be treated that way.
