Damian’s confrontation with Talia was a little meh, but I like where this is going.

Wow … I don’t usually get weepy at the end of a comic book … but DAMN!

June 7, 2011 1:26 am @Cormac: Deadpool is getting a DC book? Sweet! Is it a crossover with Marvel? Sign me up!
June 6, 2011 5:11 pm Something in the solicit for Red Robin #26 (August) leads me to be hopeful.

If they cancel Red Robin I'll be sad, but the Red Hood book will be a welcome salve ...
June 6, 2011 2:20 pm Red Robin, Batman and Robin and Starborn this week ... some of my favorite books ... too bad DC is fracking the Bat books up with this cockamamie REBOOT. I'll enjoy these while they last, but come September ... well ... Tony Daniels my arse ... Things could be worse I suppose ... I could be a Superman and Green Lantern fan as well ...
June 6, 2011 12:25 pm Ultimate Marvel didn't REPLACE the original line, it added to it. Time may confirm this as having been a smart business move for DC. But I will seriously miss JOCK on Detective Comics. For me, hope springs eternal because Damian is still in place and they've not yet said anything about Red Robin. So ... who thinks they'll still do a Detective Comics #900 issue regardless? I really should thank DC, because my monthly comic book budget just got a little smaller.
June 3, 2011 2:22 am This seems so nonsensical to me. The fundamental misunderstanding is that print and digital are similar markets. Jason, if DC is trying to do something for a different group of buyers, how hard would it have been for them to treat digital and paper as two DIFFERENT markets? Leave the print books alone and launch an entirely new line for digital platforms. This isn't bold Jason--and it isn't visionary. It's moronic. Boom!, IDW, Dynamite, Dark Horse, and Image are licking their chops right now. BMB is right.
June 2, 2011 11:03 pm POTW ... Glad to have been on the ride for this one. Awesome storytelling. Wonderful artwork.
June 1, 2011 3:59 pm And if they frack with Batman, well, I'll just have have more $$ to spend on books from a different publisher.
June 1, 2011 3:55 pm @tomstewdevine: What gave you the impression I'm a big Marvel fan? As long as DC leaves my Batman books alone, I'll be happy. Otherwise ... YAWN ...
