I think Marvel is trying to trick us here.  It doesn't seem like this has been the approach to any other important series like this.  It's always been much more hush-hush, so I can't help but think if this series will turn out to be something other than what it is solicited as.

June 1, 2009 4:32 pm Yeah, I tried explaining how the Ultimate line would have simply been another comics disaster if not for Millar and Bendis, but my dog just left the room.  Go figure.

I just watched the "Top 5 Batman Stories" podcast, and you guys didn't mention The Long Halloween.  Seriously?  It's a great Batman story that really highlights his role as a detective character. 

 I'd love to know what you guys think of this book.
