April 11, 2013 5:57 pm Tom Katers and Sal Abbinanti need to do an ongoing podcast. That is my Christmas wish. That is all. (Oh yeah, and world peace.....and for the Sentry to stay dead)
October 22, 2012 1:23 pm I loved it! Had the trade but when I was in Calgary and saw that Perez was there signing I found the issues and got him to sign each one!
October 17, 2012 11:58 am I have been buying the hardcover editions of BPRD...I have three I believe. Will this story likely be collected in something like that? And with the third collection, how far behind am I in BPRD?
October 16, 2012 10:30 am I want to love this book. Heck at this moment I would be satisfied to like this book. Maybe once the Legion Lost members come back it will improve the book.
October 15, 2012 6:35 pm Hmmmm....Maybe Booster will get another shot at a title???
October 15, 2012 4:21 pm I really wanted to like Legion Lost but it was almost a chore to read it. Let's hope they pick up the pace on the Legion book or I could easily see it on the next wave of cancelled titles
August 16, 2012 3:31 pm Well, it worked for me! I have thought that publishers and some shops need to work a bit harder to reach out to new customers...and this is a creator putting his money where his mouth is! Just called my local shop and I am in! Good luck
February 28, 2012 2:03 pm I really wanted to like Firestorm and Hawkman as I really really want to like both of these characters. However, not going to happen. Dropped after issue 2 or 3. Red Lantern was worth a shot. But nope....gone. Still sticking with Superman. Close to losing Superboy and Supergirl. Action Comics...for a bit longer I suppose. DC Comics Presents was the title I had high hopes for, especially in the New DCU. I liked the one and done stories that were in Brave and the Bold and thought that this would fit that spot. I hope they go to much shorter arcs, no more than 2 or maybe 3 issues. Also, I would like to see this title feature more "B" and "C" list characters. Maybe Mr. Terrific could have been featured here and had a chance to grow on us inch by inch.
February 7, 2012 3:23 pm My local library is always good for getting in graphic novels, especially ones that could work for anyone. I am going to suggest they pick these up and likely read it there. If any are outstanding, I'll pick them up through my local shop or Amazon.
February 7, 2012 1:29 pm I see this as a real positive for the industry and for DC specifically. They are already retooling some of the lineup, hopefully replacing some of the underpreforming books with titles that people are going to add to pull lists. Also, we have seen DC do a bit of cross promotion in titles already to expose people to a few more titles. And remember, these numbers don't include any digital information, so the true numbers are really not known. Also, when you look at the graphic novel sales, its hard to really say who is winning or losing. However, I would say as long as we can still get our monthly (or for the trade waiters, quarterly) fix, digital, floppy, or deluxe hard edition, we are all winning!
