February 7, 2013 6:47 pm Sword of Sorcery was actually quite good. In a market where My Little Pony has done well, I would have thought it wise for DC to hang on to SoS, a female-friendly book. It is the only quality book out of the above, with perhaps the exception of Firestorm. I bought two issues of each issue of SoS, thinking it might catch on and do well, but I guess it was not to be.
June 12, 2012 5:12 pm I rather liked Resurrection Man and thought it was well done, one of the better 52 titles. Now 10 months into the new 52 Universe, the quality of almost all the titles has taken a hit. Although I understand the business decisions that led to the reboot, there were a much larger percentage of better titles before the reboot. These titles' cancellation of course reflect poor sales at least on a relative basis. Is there a way of comparing sales of titles now with those before the reboot? I'd be particulary interested in how Flash and Wonder Woman are selling as compared to there pre-52 versions.
December 28, 2011 2:01 pm As someone who reads about everything, Tiny Titans is well deserving of its Eisner. It's Rebecca Flack fun fun fun FUN!
December 12, 2011 6:53 pm Heck, I buy about everything. What am I looking forward to the most? Walking Dead #92- I've been buying 2 issues of each WD issue since I started buying around issue #10. Journey Into Mystery #632- Marvel's best comic. Batwoman #4 The Shade #3
November 18, 2011 2:20 pm I buy EVERYTHING Marvel puts out. And Journey Into Mystery is Marvel's best book right now. My wife could only shake her head in pretend interest when I told her how last issue's Volstagg issue was the best story that had ever been done with a character who's been around for almost 50 years. Kudos for the creative team.
November 15, 2011 6:39 pm What was so great about FF #51 was that this one issue story was BETTER than the historic storylines that fell on either side of it, i.e. the introduction of the Silver Surfer and Galactus and the first appearnce of the Black Panther. One of my personal Top 10 comics ever, and I have about 200 longboxes.
