Word has it this tome includes the entire MT V1 & 2, and also the Giant-Size Man-Thing Comic Magazines! If ever a character was worthy of being collected in such a massive book it's MAN-THING. I'm all over this omibus

October 2, 2012 4:13 am The pre-52 universe will always exists, just like the silver age DCU. The comics are still on sale, digital or otherwise, and if any new readers who jumped on after the launch of The New 52 ever care to experience the old DCU then that stuff is easy to find. As a long-time DC reader I honestly prefer the old DCU, but how many old fans said that of the pre-CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS DCU in 1986 (a year after Crisis happened?) My point is, there were good stuff that came out of this New 52 relaunch, and there were bad stuff, but the same can be said of the previous relaunch in 1985. Things will become good again, just like they did after Crisis, then we'll have a dip in quality again, ad infinitum. If there's stuff you don't like NOW, don't despair. It might get better again down the line. Bad titles wil be cancelled, and new ones will be solicited, just the way it's always been. As long as most of the writers and editors at least TRY to strive for quality I will keep reading DC, and there are at least 10 of the new titles that I'm enjoying immensely month in and month out...

July 30, 2012 11:34 pm Take Reis off Aquaman then. Bring back Intergang with heavyweight supervillains to handle the street-level METROPOLIS crime, which is much different than Gotham or Star City's. Up the power of the villains, make Supes more spectacular. And did you miss the bits about cosmic stories? Superman should tackle all kinds of threats, not just big bad gods like Darkseid...

July 30, 2012 10:57 pm Bring back Superman's old costume already. The new changes they've made to the character HASN'T WORKED. Make Ivan Reis the regular artist, if he can juggle Aquaman and Action. Tell more cosmic stories juxtaposed with street-level supervillain crime. Rather than mining the Golden Age, why not mine the Silver Age? But mainly get rid of that ridiculous Kryptonian ceremonial armor!!

July 30, 2012 10:47 pm This whole series has gone in a totally different direction than I wanted it to. It's still awesome, but now that the big bad threat has been dealt with, it turns out Butcher is an even bigger threat? What he's doing makes sense, because of his obsessions, but I don't like it. Wish The Boys could have had a happy ending for the good guys, a la Preacher...
