December 16, 2011 1:28 pm At first I thought that Big Trouble sketch was of Tom Schrapling.
October 18, 2011 1:10 pm Yeah, if all of the dramatic tension in a story comes from violence, there has to be real stakes behind that violence. That's why I far prefer creator owned books like Criminal or Invincible to Trademark Servicing similar genre books like Daredevil or JLA.
October 3, 2011 2:11 pm So, one month in and I'm already missing half the story because I'm not reading all 52 books?? Dropped.
August 5, 2011 11:29 pm @Myself:  I checked it out and over all the ratings have been consistently solid, just taking a dip during the Ultimatum cross-over.
August 5, 2011 11:16 pm I'd be curious to see a graph of the iFanboy ratings on Ultimate Spider-man.  I always loved Ult. Spider-man when it was BMB's self contained storyline, where almost 10 years of comics covered a few months of Peter Parker's life.  But ever since Ultimatum the quality of the book has suffered imo.  If I hear that the Miles Morales Ultimate Spider-man is the back up to the book's former quality, I'll definitely pick up the trades. But if they continue from Ultimate cross-over to Ultimate cross-over I don't expect to regret taking a pass on Volume 2.
May 9, 2011 5:42 pm Irredeemable trade for me. BQ I'd probably go batshit along with the rest of the people who realized my existence meant the universe was fictional.
April 14, 2011 8:07 am You are correct that crazy big event are not a disservice to fans of Marvel or DC.  I think they are a disservice to fans of the talent at Marvel and DC if their work is being compromised by the constraints of event servicing.  But that talent has to make a living in order to put out the indy books I prefer, so I don't hold it against them.
April 12, 2011 12:07 pm Hmm this seems to be confirming my suspicion that I won't be wanting to read any more marvel books after I read usm 160.
April 11, 2011 2:24 pm Hahahahhhhhahhahjhh... wow.
March 29, 2011 10:16 am I hope there is an ad for the next volume of Hip Flask in this. How long has Sarengheti had his sights on Sahara? Four years?
