September 22, 2011 7:16 am Personally, I thought this was awful. The art was OK but the story smacked of desperation, as if nobody at DC has any idea what to do with this character anymore so why not make this comic violent, disjointed and unpleasant. (not that violent and unpleasant is necessarily a bad thing, just in this case I think it is an uneasy fit for the character)

July 1, 2011 8:14 am @Suicidalkangarooz  I was under the impression (from a comment Kirkman on the letters page) that Charlie Adlard might have drawn the bullet hole too large, and Carl's injury, while meant to be life-threatening, was not as extreme as the way it was originally presented. Thus making it somewhat more plausible (within the confines of the story) that he would have initially survived the gun shot.
