October 6, 2010 9:56 pm Yes! You go Ron! Loved this book.
September 28, 2010 9:09 pm It's Alphonse Mucha meets Professor Layton...looks awesome. If "motion comics" looked like that I'd be all over them...
September 20, 2010 1:51 pm  "I understand it costs a lot to produce a quality comic and pay an art team a fair wage, but could it possibly cost more than having a Beijing bureau?"  <----This is friggin awesome dude!

@Diabhol  hahah! you are the only other person I've heard of who read Suikoden! I liked it too.

Nothing wrong with being picky. There's a ton of crap manga out there.

September 14, 2010 10:45 am How about Bakuman? It's a comic about making comics--first volume just came out, it's by the guys who created Death note
September 14, 2010 10:07 am @Koen, Astroboy does indeed show its age a bit, but as with all Tezuka stuff it is definitely NOT childish by today's standards...there's serious stuff going on and people die. Tezuka understood buddhism implicitly and the first noble truth of "Suffering Exists" makes it into all his stuff.
September 14, 2010 9:44 am thought about reading...and did read them...and liked them all. I still can't figure out why many of the loudest manga critics have never actually read much, if any, manga. Furthermore...if you are a comics fan, why express so much hatred for another form of comics...does anyone rant and rave about webcomics or newspaper strips?
September 12, 2010 6:55 pm Picked this up a week or so ago. Fantastic...If you like Reiner's stuff, check out Spiral Bound...
September 9, 2010 10:30 am Uhhh this looks BADA$$!
August 26, 2010 7:34 pm Currently in a down cycle with this book. Loved the beginning of Hickman's run, then got bored. Fantastic 3 might be interesting...gonna wait and see. The better question should have been "When another writer takes on the book will it be "Fantastic Four" again?" "of course".
