Name: Alan Robertson

Bio: I am a Marvel Zombie, who dabbles in WildStorm (RIP) and Hellboy. But thanks to the guys at iFanboy as well as the rest of the iFanbase, my tastes have begun to grow...and my bank account shrink. But thats okay because I now consider myself to be a fan of GOOD comics not just Marvel comics.  That said, I blindly buy all X-Men titles that come out and absolutely gorge myself on the continuity. It's like crack...without the open sores and white lips.I work in retail distribution for a number of gift/smoke shops in the Central Texas (and expanding!) area.  I buy my weekly books at Dragon's Lair in Austin, Tx.

December 20, 2011 9:49 pm My vote goes to X'ed Out. I enjoyed it so much, that it feels like SO MUCH LONGER than a year since it came out. I can't wait for the next part of the story!
December 19, 2011 11:31 pm @ResurrectionFlan Really? Are you serious? Because I'll do it.
December 19, 2011 9:06 pm Agreed. It's a fuckin' mood killer. I'm really glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this. I was starting to think maybe I was imagining it.
December 19, 2011 4:37 pm In my opinion this isn't just "the internet", this is iFanboy.com. ALOT of us have been posting here for several years and really love the community. I come here because legitimate conversation far outweighs all the BS. So while many of you guys are posting "Welcome to the Internet!", I would argue that here, for the most part, we do conduct ourselves more civilly than commenters on other sites. Is it just me or have those types of comments increased since the New 52 arrived?
December 19, 2011 4:29 pm Now...where's Kickass? :)
December 14, 2011 10:39 pm Deathblow? The Wildstorm Deathblow? I must seek this out!
December 14, 2011 10:31 pm Astonishing X-Men is one of the first trades I ever bought, it a SHINY gold cover. I read it until the pages fell out and I can't recommend it enough. Prepare to fall in love with Blink!
December 14, 2011 4:13 pm In the case of this particular comic, it most certainly will lead consumer shortages. If you check the books website, you will see that only about 1500 copies were printed and the majority of those were sold at the 60 shops that Ron mentions in the post (I personally preordered mine from TFAW). This same type of marketing was used by Humphries on his previous book, Our Love is Real, which led to a huge demand after the first printing and consequently led to a much larger printing from Image. It was covered extensively, by Ron, for the site. So, I don't really see this as simply marketing for Graphicly. IT's a story that the community, at least part of it, is interested in.
December 14, 2011 2:44 pm I have two of these. I initially bought them for traveling (for which, they work great!), but now I use them for every trip I make to my LCS in place of getting yet another plastic bag to throw away. Highly recommended.
