Growing up, I found myself to be a huge fan of the blue boy, to me Nightcrawler was just the coolest mutant ever. So it pains me to say that this comic is just not a good read at all. I recently just got myself back into reading comics about a month ago, so I’ve been trying to grab up as much as possible, and when I saw this was coming out, I became very excited. The feeling of reading a comic that was going to focus just on Nightcrawler made me almost giddy.

After reading the comic, or I really should say that half-way through the comic I started to feel that something was wrong. I don’t want to point fingers or anything, I enjoyed the art of the comic, at least for the most part. Some of the art was kind of just run of the mill, but most of it was pretty decent. The writing however was just atrocious and the fact that Marvel allowed this to even be published almost makes me somewhat worried. After digging into it a little, I found out that JAMES ASMUS, this was his first time writing a comic. Or well atleast that I could find. For a first timer, it’s sub-par at the best. I hope that he learns from this and hopfully he will become a much better writer over time.

I recommend this only to people who really like Nightcrawler and feel the need to have anything with him in it.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 3 - Good
