This was an interesting bridge story between X-Men Legacy, where Charles Xavier has tried to come to terms with himself, and his place in the post-Decimation Universe, and Dark X-Men which looks to, essentially, be Normon Osborn’s X-Men.  There’s a lot of healthy introspection between Professor X and Exodus in this issue (hey, two people can be introspective when one is a telepath).  And while it wasn’t a thrilling issue, it seemed more true to the character of Charles Xavier than the previous few arcs.

Brione’s art is an interesting fusion of the recent “muddy Marvel” trend, and the 90s Lee-era X-Men, which, given the characters, makes a whole lot of sense.

Story: 3 - Good
