X-Men Legacy is a title best read in trade.  I found I didn’t hate the first arc nearly as much as I did when I read it in issues.  It might be a Mike Carey thing.  I don’t really know, as I’ve really enjoyed his work, but never read it in issue form until his X-Men run.

This issue was…huh.  I liked the return of Rogue (though Carey should NOT be allowed to try and write in an American Southern accent, he’s very inconsistent with it), and the reveal at the end.  But I didn’t love this issue.  But, maybe it will be better in trades.

Artwise, some of the shadowing seems off to me.  And as someone who’s not a visual artist, himself, it must be way off for me to notice it.  Or, you know, maybe shadows are different in Australia, what with it being upside down and all.
