Three words: Dun.dun dun.

Extended version:  It’s kind of Like Days of Future Future Imperfect: Another Mutant Massacre.  A lot of early nineties storylines that the X-Men haven’t really messed with lately.  Perhaps Kirkman’s Ultimate run reminded them that the Stryfe/Apocalypse angle COULD have been good.  So they’re trying it out again.  And thus far, thus good.  I really like how they found an artist who’s style is similar to Olivetti’s, who’s been painting the Cable issues of the crossover.
