Um, wow.  I totally did not expect this issue to be this good.  The art was really good; I actually really liked the painted look where it was used.  It was the story, though, that got me.  This seriously has to be one of the best single issues of any comic I’ve read.  The plot was tight, the story was engrossing, and it was all pulled off in the limited space of one issue.  Not only that, but it sets up some interesting plot threads to expand on later.  But even disregarding how this relates to X-Force or X-Men in general, this was some absolutely great story-telling that could easily stand on its own without being X-Men characters.  Wow, my hats off to Kyle & Yost, this was fantastic.
