So, it was all worth it.  The brief arc of terrible artwork, the Secret Invasion tie-ins taking the story out of focus.  All worth it.

Recently, on the opening page, Peter David has taken to writing stories about his family, including his daughter, who used to work at the same computer I’m typing this on.  In this issue, he’s used that space to ask people not to post spoilers on The Internet.  I don’t like to post spoilers, anyway, but I do like that he’s making a point to ask the fanboys not to ruin this storyline.  So, what I’ll say is this:  It’s excellent.  If you enjoyed the initital arcs of this book, where David was doing things not common in The X-Universe, I suspect you’ll enjoy this, too.  If you haven’t read those issues, go pick them up.  I think this is the best written, best conceived X-book that’s come out in years, with the possible exception of The Messiah Complex crossover.  I hope more people start picking it up and reading it.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
