This was a satisfying conclusion to what I feel is a fun mini-series. It was basically an excuse to get the modern bat and super families together. It also tied in two major storylines in all that’s been going on in the Bat-books and the New Krypton arc and made them a part of the story but didn’t hammer you over the head that you needed to read either. If you went in cold and just picked up this mini, Sterling Gates gave you enough information to get a good idea and just run with the story.

I’m shocked with how much fun this 4-issue mini was and hope to see them do more with this in the future. After all, since when was Toyman and Mr. Freeze ever a logical pairing? Never. But it certainly was interesting.
