For the big finale to the series of team ups, we get DC’s heavy hitters: Batman and Superman. Dick and Commander Kal-El in their first team up ever. This should be an epic battle that means something to the reader.
What do we get instead? Batman and Superman pointing out that Toyman has built a replica of a giant robot they’ve already fought before.
Power Girl and Batgirl are two of my favorite comics out right now, so I understand the joy of light-hearted fun. This didn’t have the charm or comedy that make those books work. Instead, this issue just felt extremely silver agey, but not in a good way.
Was it a fun mini overall? Yes. Am I glad I read it? Not really.

  1. Hmm, again with not getting my paragraph breaks to work… any pointers?
