Much to my surprise, this book was great. I haven’t been enjoying the current run on Wonder Woman but I feel compelled to read it since I’m a hugh Wonder Woman fan. Last month, I wrote a review that panned #7. This time, though, the brooding and the moping and the “who is this person they dress up as Wonder Woman” stuff went away and we get some great advancement in the story. Now I want to know what happens next!
This story operates on a “slow burn” and I think the story stretching has just been a few issues too many to get to this point. Still, Azzarello is a trusted name in the industry and I’m along for the ride.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
