  1. Hmm .. A lot of what you say could address why I’ve lost interest in this title the last few issues..

  2. Oh good. I wasn’t the only one.

Everything you said. I really felt there was a whole set of assumptions I should be making but had no idea what or why. Very frustrating.

  3. I would rank this a bit higher myself. While I agree the story has gotten a bit muddled and away from itself it still has me intrigued by being a fresh approach to WW. I would definitely rank the art higher as I was impressed with that aspect and love the cover. I would go with a 3 for story and a 5 for art.

  4. If I understand correctly, Diana loves everyone because she was shot through the heart by one of Ero’s Love Guns (que song…). Still, I too get the feeling that Azzarello’s style involves niether showing OR telling certain aspects of the story, so we ARE left to assume things and fill in the blanks ourselves, which is why this book is starting to lose me as well. I’m sticking with it, though, because it’s still too weird a book for me to quit yet.

  5. This was a great review. I’m glad somebody else was confused at Hades odd and WW inappropriate heel-like behavior.
