Wolverine and the X-Men has really catapulted me back into the X-Universe. I stayed away for years because I felt like I couldn’t get back into the game. Have you ever tried watching a random soap opera episode? It’s completely confusing. That’s how I felt about the X-comics … but not anymore!

I secretly love the X-Men but I hid it away somewhere deep down so I wouldn’t spend hours and hours on this site, wikipedia and back issues/trades trying to catch up. However, when I saw Wolverine and the X-Men #1 and Uncanny #1 (controversy aside) I decided to dip my toe back into the crazy ocean that is the X-Men.

Its totally worth it. This series is fun, the characters are great and its a wild ride. We’ve already had the school destroyed and now Wolverine and Kid Omega are in space gambling!? Classy moves Mr. Aaron. Its a breath of fresh air from the “heavier” title Uncanny (which like also but …).

Anyway, glad to be back. Though, I must say, I love the art but Wolverine looks funny to me 😉
