Dark Angel Saga was almost perfect in execution and tone that it’s tough for anything that follows to measure up. I’ve always been a more casual X-Men reader so the Otherworld storyline and subsequent arcs have been so packed with esoterica that I think this issue might be the death-knell of the series for me.

I can absolutely understand why X-ophiles would really dig this series but it might be deviating too much from what I want in an X-book.

On a positive note, I will say, Deadpool yelling “Steve Holt!” with outstretched arms had me laughing. But that was the highlight.
