I’ve always liked the Angel, but in four pages Rick Remender, Jerome Opena and Dean White made me love him while in the process making my heart break for him, it was quite possibly the best handled “death” i’ve ever seen in comics. What an incredible ending to one of the best X-Men stories in years. If you had told me in October of 2010 that I would fall in love with Uncanny X-Force I wouldn’t have believed you, but Remender & crew have consistantly put out the absolute best comic on the rack that perfectly blends a long time readers love for all things X-Men and the accessibility for a new reader to jump on board and enjoy the ride with the rest of us.

Also, Jerome Opena is the very definition of an artist.

  1. next time maybe check the spoiler box when you mention a death in a review. I specifically clicked on a no spoiler review to not be spoiled.
