Uncanny X-Force is the best Superhero book are the market. Remender continues to take concepts from the 90’s and make them cool. He manages to take my nostalgia for these concepts and make them hold up better because he is using them so well. Watching Angel’s decent to darkness has been fascinating, and watching the teams heartbreak has been compelling. Jerome Opena on the art is something special. He just blows me away with every issue that he puts out. His facial expressions really hammer home the emotions of these characters. Remender and Opena are magic on this book.

Comments

  1. If you like the book so much then why are the ratings so low?

  2. He probably didn’t want to give those ratings. The new ‘improved’ site is all screwed up. People’s ratings in reviews aren’t coming out as they entered them. The previous interface for reviews was much better. With the new one, I feel like I’m typing into a teeny tiny box, and then the ratings don’t even come out correctly half the time.
