This book was the most fun issue of ANYTHING I’ve read in a long time.

This book made me remember that there is an unacknowledged, long-forgotten dialect of the English language: ComicBook-ese. Between the rich, god-like third person narration and the spot-on, laugh out loud dialogue the characters use, Rick Remender is bringing it back in a big way. I’m digging the hell out of it.

The art was.. good. I like Daniel Acuña’s style, but his Alex Summers looks kind of off, IMO. If I didn’t know which book I was reading, I probably would have mistaken Havok for a future version of Cannonball.
