This was actually quite a sweet story.  I never really expected Peter and MJ to do it, so that was no surprise, but the last couple of pages did make me DAWWW, just a little bit.  I equate Ultimate MJ to your best friend's crappy girlfriend.  You want her to be cool, but most of the time she's just typical and infuriating.  Well, MJ got to be that, eventually, in this issue.  I wanted to like her, and she let me.  But the real surprise was Mysterio.  I didn't expect to like this new incarnation, as I haven't liked several of the Ultimate villain iterations, but he seems pretty bad-ass.  Also, the art in this book, while a little unusual and quirky, I found charming.  I expect it to be polarizing, since Spidey looks like a little kid with a big head, but it worked for me this time.  Oh, and of course, Bendis-speak abounds here... but he gets extra points for the "embrace change" joke.
