Morals help a child develop into a adult while morals help superbeings define who they are and what they represent. Bendis and Pichelli shows us another piece of our beloved Miles Morales and i am loving every issue of it.
In this latest issue of Ultimate Spiderman we are given a glimpse of the moral compass that has led Peter Parker in his troubled and glory times of being a being a superhero, now being bestowed onto Miles Morales and the decisions he has to make for himself with his newly found powers.

The story starts off with Miles Morales witnessing Peters death in this issue and is automatically stunned at the sacrifice he had taken for the people he loved. Having to have seen such a horrid yet beautiful scene of sacrifice, Miles is then hit with a dilemma of why has he wasted away this power when he could have been making a difference like Peter Parker. Miles is then in search of answers from Parkers funeral in which he is bestowed a brief explanation of why Peter became the masked spiderman and his code that he always follwed.

With the dynamic duo of Bendis and Pichelli working on this comic together and Miles on the cover, i am still sold on this comic and have it easily fitted in my top 5 must pulls for the month.

  1. Never wanted to dislike a book more, yet loved it more…I truly look forward to this book each month, mostly due to Bendis’s great characterization of Miles…
