I’ve been trying to work out what my reasons are for buying this book. If it’s for Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman, I already buy their solo books. If it’s to see them interacting, I already buy Justice League of
KB is a very uneven writer; sometimes I am impressed, often I am bludgeoned by not very interesting words. The coffee buying scene was headache inducing in its obviousness; compare and contrast the Trinity’s characters by how they order their coffee. It was trite. Fortunately, FN on the back-up was much more to my liking, with a fast, efficient style. And light-hearted too.
I know MB is quick on the draw, but frankly some of this issue looked down right rushed. Perhaps it was the inking, so I will give him the benefit of doubt.
Am I interested in where this is going? Moderately. Will I stick around? Probably until I see the new Dynamic Duo Ragman and Rag Boy in action. Or should that be Ragman and Rags, or better still Ragman and Tatters the Boy Wonder.

Honestly I though the coffee bit was rather concious of its obviousness. Very cheeky.
Ah! So I’m not the only one who was rolling my eyes at the coffee selections. Trite is a perfect description.
Just as trite as the coffee selection were their varying descriptions of their "dreams."
