I’ve been quite fond of this title since it’s inception and while some issues missed with their jokes, overall it’s been pretty funny. But this issue, my goodness, this issue takes the cake, by far. For all that was said about Ambush Bug earlier in the year, this is both the funniest book I’ve read this year and the one that did the best job poking fun at DC. Between Darkseid as the lunch lady, a ‘final’s crisis’ and some… interesting family bonding, this hit all the right notes. Odd in such a busy week to say it, but this was very much my pick of the week. I haven’t had that much fun with a humor comic in some time.
